Let us introduce the PVC Foam Board Production Line to you.
What Is PVC Foam Board Production Line?
PVC Foam Board Production Line uses controlled cooling to produce rigid plastic sheets with a foamed core and a hard, smooth surface (skin). These sheets are considered an ideal alternative to wood, aluminum, and composite panels due to their “wood-like texture and plastic-like performance.”
What are the components of PVC foam board production line?
Conical Twin-Screw Extruder:
Employs high-power, high-output models (such as SJSZ 80/156 or 92/188) to ensure full plasticization and stable pressure of highly filled foam formulations.
Sheet Extrusion Die:
Features a coat hanger-style runner design with an internal foaming pressure regulating device to ensure uniform density across the sheet width.
Styling System (Core Component):
Utilizes a dedicated styling machine that uses circulating cold water to powerfully cool the sheet surface, forming a high-hardness “skin” layer.
Cooling Support:
Extended rolling supports ensure stable cooling of thick sheets at room temperature, preventing warping caused by uneven heating.
Traction Machine:
Multi-roller smooth traction, equipped with a high-torque drive to overcome the friction of wide sheets.
Cutting Machine:
Automatic transverse cutting combined with a dust extraction device ensures dimensional accuracy for large-format sheets (typically 1220mm wide).
What are the technical features of machine?
High Surface Hardness: The finished surface is smooth and hard, scratch-resistant, feels close to solid wood, and has extremely strong nail-holding power.
Adjustable Density: By adjusting the foaming agent ratio and shaping process, the board density can typically be controlled between 0.4 and 0.8 g/cm³.
Excellent Physical Properties: Waterproof, flame-retardant (B1 grade), corrosion-resistant, moisture-proof, mildew-proof, non-absorbent, and does not deform.
Easy Processing: Can be sawed, planed, drilled, and nailed like wood, and supports secondary processing such as thermoforming, painting, and lamination.
What are the application areas of PVC foam boards?
Furniture Manufacturing: Cabinet panels for bathroom vanities, kitchen cabinets, and wardrobes (especially suitable for humid environments).
Advertising & Decoration: Screen printing, signage, display boards, lettering, UV printing panels.
Building Decoration: Interior and exterior decorative panels, building formwork (some high-strength types), ceiling panels.
Transportation: Interior flooring and partitions for ships, airplanes, buses, and trains.
